SIXTH GENERATION OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION · 6GDT

From generative systems
to inferential intelligence.

6GDT is a proposed paradigm extending digital transformation from content generation and prediction toward hypothesis formation, hidden-relationship discovery, causal reasoning, human validation and responsible value creation.

FORMAL DEFINITION

Digital transformation as a discovery and inference system.

The Sixth Generation of Digital Transformation is an organizational paradigm in which Human–AI systems convert evidence into hypotheses, validated inference, human judgment and sustainable value.
Central distinction: G5 primarily generates; G6 must be able to discover, explain, undergo validation and remain accountable for decision consequences.
SIX-LAYER ARCHITECTURE

From reality to value.

Core capabilities

Hypothesis generation, relationship discovery, causal reasoning, theory-formation support and recursive knowledge evolution.

Human role

Humans retain final judgment, ethical responsibility, purpose-setting, contextual interpretation and accountability.

Applications

Business Intelligence, universities, economy, transportation, climate, health and public governance.
